Look at the luck of the Republican Party:

- Howard Dean is likely to become chair of the Democratic National Committee
- Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) has become, in the public eye, the poster child of the Democratic Party
- Senator Hilary Clinton (D-NY) is "softening" on abortion
- Senator John Kerry plans to be the Democratic presidential nominee in 2008
- Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is the minorty leader in the House of Representatives and would be Speaker of the House if the Democrats got a majority of seats in the 2006 election
With luck like this, how can the Republicans not win the election of 2008?
